Weekly worship services are on Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
Sunday School classes for all ages are at approximately 10:15 a.m.
following the worship service.
OUR MISSION:
Faith in action; as the Body of Christ, the United Church of Diagonal strives
for unity among the community reaching out with the love of Jesus, empowered
by the Holy Spirit, sharing the Good News with boldness to the community
through worship, outreach, education, and our example in daily living.
The United Church of Diagonal officially originated on
January 1, 1981 when the congregations of the Presbyterian, Christian (Disciples of Christ),
and Methodist congregations
federated, keeping our official ties to all three denominations.
We continue many ongoing traditions including the annual Crop Walk, Harvest Sale, Hanging
of the Greens, Lenten Services, Easter Sunrise Service and breakfast, DYF's Hunter's Breakfast, Men's Pancake Supper, Christmas Eve Service, Vacation
Bible School, Sunday School, and Sunday morning worship in a fully handicapped
accessible building.
