Diagonal Women's Fellowship


Newsletter notes from the ladies:

First of all a giant THANK YOU to all of the men, women, boys, and girls who helped with the suppers and the last quilt raffles.

Three Mondays during summer, 2006 lunch was served by the United Women to approximately 65 golfers.    We extend a HUGE thank you and note of appreciation to Lucy Ricker for her dedication to organizing and serving these meals!

Thursday, September 28, 2006, was the United Church of Diagonal Fall Supper.   Last year, turkey, ham, roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy, along with various salads and desserts (don't forget the pie) were served to approximately 140 hungry people, with a line out the door from a little after 5:00 until after 7:00 p.m.

It was a wonderful night for good food, good friends, and good fellowship.
We are looking forward to another GREAT time again this year!!
